My fascination for the breeding and training of dogs began at an early age. As a teenager I bred and raised Dobermans and Rottweilers.
After attending college on a basketball scholarship my interest for the sport of dogs began to grow even more. I was introduced to several European Working Line dogs such as the German Shepherd and Cane Corso.
My interest grew as I traveled to more Schutzhund and PSA clubs to train and gain more knowledge.
I purchased and raised several working line dogs before eventually obtaining what I consider to be an example of a true working dog. I was fortunate to obtain Kane Vom Enckhausen at the age of 10 weeks. He was raised from a puppy to the level of Schutzhund 1. He has proved to be a good sport dog but foremost serves as my personal protection dog.
Even though I have a Schutzhund background I feel that a dog’s first job is to serve as a protector and not the sport. Therefore Thompson Haus Kennels has been originated to serve the community better with well rounded protection dogs from proven true working lines.
